Job summary

LPL Financial is seeking an experienced Data Warehousing Lead (Finance) to direct enterprise data and analytics solutions powered by Snowflake and AWS. You will bridge business stakeholders with data engineering, architects, and analytics consumers to deliver scalable, trusted data products that drive business value.

The role requires strong business analysis, product ownership, and deep finance knowledge, owning the backlog, defining requirements, and partnering with engineering for reporting

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, Analytics Engineering, or Data Architecture.
• 5+ years leading business requirements, backlog, and delivery in Finance or similar domains.
• Advanced SQL development, performance tuning, data validation.
• AWS-based ETL/ELT pipelines and modern data engineering practices.
• Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred in related field.

Responsibilities

• Own product roadmaps, backlogs, sprint planning, and release planning to maximize value.
• Lead requirements management: requirements gathering, data mapping, user stories, acceptance criteria, UAT coordination.
• Define business rules, KPIs, data lineage, and reporting requirements in Finance domains.
• Design, develop, enhance, and support data warehouse solutions using Snowflake and AWS.
• Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data transformations for Finance, Reporting, Analytics.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and data models for enterprise warehousing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, analysts, and engineering to translate requirements into solutions.
• Establish data quality, governance, and operational excellence practices.
• Support data warehouse modernization and cloud migration initiatives.
• Work in a hybrid environment in Austin or Fort Mill with cross-location teams.
