Job summary
EchoStar in Englewood, CO seeks an experienced data engineering professional to monitor and optimize large enterprise data ecosystems using Snowflake and Databricks. You will architect scalable batch and streaming pipelines on AWS with production-grade Python and manage complex workflows with Airflow and Control-M.
You will champion Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD with GitLab, and explore Generative AI tools to accelerate development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 4+ years in Enterprise Data Warehousing and data lake engineering.
- 3+ years with SQL, Python, Shell; AWS data platform, Snowflake or Databricks.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and optimize large enterprise data ecosystems on Snowflake/Databricks and resolve ETL bottlenecks.
- Architect and optimize scalable batch/streaming pipelines on AWS with production-grade Python.
- Automate complex data workflows using Airflow and Control-M.
- Champion IaC, CI/CD with GitLab, and integrate Generative AI to boost efficiency.
- Lead incident reviews, RCA meetings, and develop production metrics.
