Job summary

Welltower is hiring a Senior Software Engineer focused on data infrastructure to design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines powering analytics and BI. You will lead data engineering projects, shape data models in Snowflake, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across the business.

Responsibilities include building ELT pipelines, managing AWS infrastructure, implementing data quality, and deploying CI/CD for data infra.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/DS/IS or related field.
• 5+ years in data engineering with cloud-based infra.
• Strong proficiency with AWS, Snowflake and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Experience building data pipelines and CI/CD for data infra.
• Knowledge of data modeling, DB design, and optimization.
• Experience with CI/CD practices for data infra.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Strong communication across teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable ELT pipelines for time-series analytics.
• Architect data models and Snowflake-based solutions for performance.
• Build and manage AWS-based data infrastructure.
• Automate data processing with orchestration workflows (Airflow).
• Establish data quality frameworks and automated testing.
• Deploy CI/CD pipelines for data infrastructure and deployments.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders.
• Establish data engineering standards and best practices.
• Create documentation for data processes and infrastructure.
• Implement data governance and regulatory compliance.
