Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Sr. Data Architect to lead data lake, analytics, and data strategy initiatives in a hybrid, long-term role based in Albany NY or New York, NY.

The candidate will work on reporting and analytics products for governmental OTDA/OCFS programs with a focus on scalable architectures. Required are 10+ years in data architecture, experience with Databricks and AWS, and strong communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data lake, analytics and data strategy.
• Developing data solutions from requirements gathering to post-production operation.
• Development of technology roadmaps and project plans.
• Development of detailed architecture documentation, including architecture models and specifications.
• Implementation of mission-critical data systems on Databricks and/or AWS.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Elicit data-related business goals and objectives from OTDA and OCFS.
• Establish a data architecture roadmap for the program.
• Establish and implement a data lake and analytics reference architecture for the program.
• Manage the data implementation plan for the three main IES Workstreams.
• Develop a reporting and analytics product utilized by OTDA and OCFS.
• Create an implementation framework for the 3 workstreams to use the data products.
