Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking engineers for the Amazon MSK team to design and build large-scale streaming data services, contributing to the open-source Kafka ecosystem and delivering cloud-scale reliability.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of software development experience, strong system design skills, and a BS in Computer Science or equivalent, with a track record of shipping complex software in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Design and build large-scale streaming data services on AWS.
• Collaborate with engineers to define roadmaps and implement open-source integrations.
• Contribute to performance improvements, prototyping, and testing to deliver a reliable customer experience.
