Job summary

CapTech is seeking a senior data leader to drive data strategy and solution delivery for client engagements in a fast-paced consulting environment.

You will lead large technical teams, shape data architectures, and partner with client technology and business leaders to deliver measurable value across on-premises and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Mentoring and career development are core aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• 14+ years of leading large technical teams and projects.
• 10+ years implementing on-premises and cloud data platforms and technologies.
• Proven track record of assessing traditional and modern data architectures based on business needs in a consultative approach.
• Experience with the modern data stack/platform technologies, products, and approaches.
• Delivery experience on multiple cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Deep background with integrations and transformations of numerous types of data sources, and the solution delivery of real-time data distribution (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis, Flink), NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB, Firebase), and warehousing platforms.
• History of conducting/implementing strategic data assessments, data governance frameworks, and data quality measurements.
• 5+ years of scoping technical engagements within consulting services

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary interface with client technology and business leaders, providing technical and project leadership.
• Support and participate in solution delivery and drive value for client engagements.
• Partner with portfolio teams to demonstrate capabilities, estimate work plans, and staff projects.
• Lead and mentor CapTech consultants, coaching and developing skills.
• Balance internal CapTech initiatives with client engagements in a fast-paced environment.
