Truist Financial Corporation is seeking a seasoned Data Governance Professional to identify business unit critical data elements (CDEs) and ensure data controls align with enterprise policies. The role centers on metadata management, data quality, and enterprise-wide data governance across multiple groups.

The successful candidate will collaborate with Metadata COE, Data Domain Working Group, and Technical Data Stewards to onboard CDEs, enforce data quality, and maintain data lineage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and eight years of related experience or equivalent education and training.
• Deep specialized knowledge of data stewardship/management principles, practices and methodologies.
• Experience leading IT projects of significant complexity and risk exposure.

Responsabilités

• Define and validate business-critical processes and associated critical data elements (CDEs).
• Lead data governance activities including metadata management, data quality, and metadata cataloging.
• Mentor less experienced teammates to build technical expertise.
