CI&T is seeking a Senior Data Steward to join our Data Governance team and drive data quality, ownership, and usability across the organization. This role will establish governance processes, manage metadata, and bridge business and technical teams to ensure data is documented, trusted, and aligned with standards.

Responsibilities include managing metadata, documenting ownership, and enforcing governance policies while collaborating with data owners and stakeholders.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience in Data Governance, Data Stewardship, or Data Management roles.
• Strong understanding of Data Governance frameworks, metadata management, and Data Quality principles.
• Familiarity with Databricks environments and basic Python.

• Manage metadata requests and maintain data documentation and catalog information.
• Act as a business and governance analyst for data-related initiatives.
• Partner with data owners and business stakeholders to define and document data ownership and accountability.
• Ensure adherence to data governance policies, standards, and best practices.
• Identify data issues and coordinate resolution through governance processes.
• Profile datasets and create basic data quality checks and controls.
• Support data-related requests and promote data usability and trust across the organization.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to improve data governance processes and standards.
