HousingWire is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to collaborate with sales and data teams to qualify technical requirements and craft data solutions proposals. You will guide evaluations, map data schemas, ensure successful deployments, and drive scalable playbooks for faster deal cycles.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in client-facing technical roles, strong SQL and Python, and experience moving complex data deals from discovery to close at six figures+.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a sales engineering or similar client-facing technical role.
• Strong SQL and enough Python to work with a prospect file on the spot.
• Experience carrying technical deals through the full cycle—discovery to close—at six figures and above.

Responsibilities

• Win the deal by understanding customer needs and defining success criteria.
• Manage client onboarding from credentials to sandbox access and reconciliation.
• Create and maintain documentation, templates, and playbooks to scale the business line.
• Communicate feedback to product and ensure signals are specific and actionable.
