Nicolet National Bank is seeking a Senior Data Solutions Engineer I to design, develop, and optimize enterprise data platforms that support analytics, regulatory reporting, and decision making.

You will lead data architecture efforts, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure data solutions while aligning with regulatory requirements and the bank's standards.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• 5-8+ years of experience designing and supporting enterprise data solutions.
• Advanced SQL, data integration, data warehousing, and cloud tech experience.
• Experience leading large projects and cross-functional initiatives.
• Familiarity with banking/regulatory environments preferred.
• Strong data engineering, architecture, and governance knowledge.
• Proficient in SQL, dbt, performance tuning, and query optimization.
• Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks and automated pipelines.
• Knowledge of Snowflake, Azure, Fabric, or Databricks is a plus.
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement enterprise data architecture and data platform standards.
• Develop scalable ETL/ELT processes for operational, analytical and regulatory needs.
• Collaborate with leaders, analysts, architects, and tech teams on data solutions.
• Evaluate and adopt new data technologies and best practices.
• Maintain data models, warehouses, lakes, and cloud platforms.
• Enforce standards for data integration, quality, governance and security.
• Provide leadership, reviews, and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Drive automation, scalability, reliability, and cost optimization.
• Troubleshoot data integration, performance, and infra issues.
• Lead data migration and modernization initiatives across systems.
• Coordinate with security/compliance teams for policy adherence.
• Document architecture, diagrams, and oper procedures.
• Monitor data pipelines and system performance.
• Act as SME for data integration and platform best practices.
• Participate in planning, estimation, and prioritization.
• Communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Support disaster recovery and production operations.
