Job summary

Old National Bank seeks a Senior Data Engineering Manager to lead a data engineering team within the Data Technology organization. You will define the technical roadmap, mentor engineers, and partner with stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions that drive business value.

The role requires strong leadership, cloud data platform experience, and a track record of delivering data products in a regulated industry. This is a full-time on-site position in Minnesota.

Qualifications

• 8+ years data Engineering (ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data lakes, data warehouses, and data integration solutions)
• 3+ years managing and leading data engineering teams (financial services/banking preferred)
• 3+ years cloud data platforms (Azure Databricks, Data Factory, Data Lake Storage, Synapse Analytics, or equivalent)
• 3+ years technical product owner/product manager for data products, platforms, or solutions using Scrum or Kanban

Responsibilities

• Lead a data engineering team, set vision and direction for the domain.
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of data solutions from ideation to deployment.
• Apply agile/lean practices (Scrum or Kanban).
• Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with governance frameworks.
• Prepare and present data engineering metrics to senior leadership.
