The California Lottery is seeking a Senior Business, Data and Software Analyst to lead data analytics and reporting initiatives within the IT Services Division. You will oversee daily business and technical activities and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver critical insights and solutions.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement in Sacramento County and requires expertise in BI tools, SQL, Azure and cloud data analytics in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Experience with Business Intelligence and Data Analytics tools and practices.
Experience with SQL, Azure, Synapse, Python and Power BI.
Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience leading data analytics on a BI or cloud-based project.
Ability to work independently or in a team with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Lead data analytics and reporting initiatives for Lottery's IT projects.
Provide leadership for daily business and technical activities.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and deliverables.
Support training and development assignments.
