Job summary

Skydio is seeking a Senior Engineer to own data security and access across the company. You will design and implement access controls in Foundry, provisioning from Workday and Okta, and collaborate with IT and Security on identity management and data governance.

You will lead in setting standards for data sharing and protection, ensuring compliance, and supporting AI-enabled workflows. 5+ years in data platforms and security preferred; FAA Part 107 encouraged for related roles.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data platform, data security, or infra engineering.
• Proficient with access control on data platforms like Foundry, Databricks or Snowflake.
• Experience provisioning groups from HR/id providers and managing reorgs.

Responsibilities

• Build Foundry access model: org teams, application groups, data-access groups.
• Coordinate with IT/Security on Okta groups, SSO, SCIM provisioning and egress policies.
• Keep Foundry parity with source systems and other platforms to avoid over-sharing.
• Protect sensitive/export-controlled data with Markings and security policies.
• Manage Foundry day-to-day: users, groups, roles, upgrades, reviews.”
• Collaborate with AI infrastructure teams on data access for AI agents.
