Job summary

Skydio is seeking a senior engineer to own data security and access across the company, focusing on Palantir Foundry and integration with Workday and Okta. You will define groups, roles, and policies, manage access reviews, and collaborate with IT on SSO and data egress controls.

You will work with AI infrastructure teams to ensure Compliant access for AI agents, and lead the Data Council to set data-sharing standards while protecting export-controlled data.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data platform, data security, or infrastructure engineering.
• Experience provisioning groups from HR/identity providers like Workday and Okta.
• Experience with row- and column-level security, masking, and data classification policies.
• Knowledge of SAML, SCIM, SSO, and network egress controls; clear ownership boundaries.
• Strong SQL and Python; experience with AI coding tools.
• Palantir Foundry experience, especially Markings, Organizations, security policies, and project roles.
• FAA Part 107 certification encouraged/required for some roles.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Foundry access model with groups and roles.
• Collaborate with IT on Okta groups, SSO, SCIM provisioning and data egress policies.
• Keep Foundry parity with source systems to prevent over-exposure.
• Protect sensitive and export-controlled data with Foundry Markings and security policies.
• Administer Foundry users, groups, roles, upgrades, and access reviews.
• Coordinate with AI infra engineers on how AI tools access Foundry data.
• Lead Data Council to set data-sharing and protection standards.
