Job summary

Suno in San Francisco seeks its first dedicated data scientist for the Trust & Safety team to build metrics, conduct analyses, and define an impactful roadmap that strengthens trust across users, artists, and rights holders.

You will partner with product, engineering, and legal to measure copyright detection, content filtering, and bot detection, run end-to-end experiments, and shape the Trust & Safety roadmap. This is a full-time, on-site role with competitive equity and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in data science or related analytical field, with focus on trust & safety or related problems (spam/fraud, integrity, policy-adjacent ML)
• Strong hands-on SQL and Python
• Experience running online experiments end-to-end, from ideation to decision

Responsibilities

• Define and evaluate metrics for the health of the trust & safety ecosystem
• Analyze and build models, algorithms, and methodologies for maintaining a safe platform (bot detection, content filtering, copyright detection)
• Design and run experiments measuring impact of Trust & Safety changes and translate results into recommendations
• Partner with product and engineering to size opportunities and shape the Trust & Safety roadmap
• Contribute to building strong data foundations as part of the data science team
