Job summary

The Senior Data Scientist, Student Success at Texas A&M University System Offices leads advanced analytics to illuminate student pathways and outcomes across the system. You will develop measures, support enterprise analytics platforms, and translate findings for executive leadership.

You will collaborate with institutional research and student success professionals, ensure data quality across multiple sources, and contribute to strategic planning and resource allocation with a focus on college

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, economics, higher education administration, public policy, computer science, information systems, mathematics, operations research, or a related field.
• Ten years of experience conducting advanced quantitative analysis and developing performance metrics in student success analytics or related fields.
• Experience translating analytical findings into strategic recommendations for executive leadership or boards.

Responsibilities

• Administrate the adoption and development of the Student Success Intelligence Platform.
• Conduct analyses across the student success lifecycle (admissions, enrollment, retention, persistence, re-enrollment, transfer pathways, graduation).
• Develop comprehensive measures of student success and performance dashboards.
• Coordinate system-level analyses and reporting for state and federal student-success requirements.
• Collaborate with institutional research and student success professionals across the A&M System.
• Other duties as assigned.
