Job summary

Texas A&M University System Offices seeks a Senior Data Scientist, Research to provide advanced analysis and reporting for system leadership and member institutions. You will develop research measures, conduct benchmarking, and analyze expenditures, awards, publications, and collaborations to inform strategic initiatives.

The role supports enterprise analytics platforms, coordinates data submissions, and collaborates with research offices across the System. Remote work is eligible.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a data-related field and 10+ years of quantitative analysis experience.
Experience in research analytics, institutional research, or data science for decision support.
Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, R and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

Lead development of the Research Intelligence Platform and analytic measures.
Perform system-wide performance benchmarking and comparative analyses across Texas A&M System institutions.
Analyze research expenditures, proposals, awards, publications, and collaborations.
Translate analytical findings into strategic recommendations for executive leadership.
Collaborate with research administration and institutional research staff across the System.
