Job summary

Hertz Revenue Management is seeking a Sr. Data Scientist to join a team that optimizes revenue offers and builds proprietary optimization products. You will collaborate across Revenue Management, Pricing, Sales, Product, IT, and vendors to deliver end-to-end solutions.

The role requires 2-5 years in modeling/data science, a Master’s in a quantitative field, and strong data scripting skills (SQL, Python, R). Starting salary is $105K with benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a quantitative field is required.
• 2–5 years of industry experience in modeling, data science or OR.
• Strong communication skills to advocate solutions across the enterprise.
• Experience with data scripting languages (SQL, Python, R) or stats/optimization software.
• Experience with big data: processing and presenting large data sets.
• Ability to work with large, unstructured data sets and deliver solutions.

Responsibilities

• Identify commercial opportunities to optimize Hertz revenue using data sources and models.
• Enhance analytical tools and develop new solutions based on large data sets.
• Own and deliver end-to-end solutions with stakeholders and IT.
• Promote long-term customer vision aligned with business strategy.
• Coordinate with business units, Finance, IT, and senior management to drive projects.
• Develop the Data Analytics Team and champion industry-leading solutions.
