Job summary

Fanatics is seeking a Senior Data Scientist for Supply Chain & Inventory Optimization to lead ML-driven modeling, pricing optimization, and demand forecasting. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and operations to frame problems and deploy scalable models that impact inventory and profitability.

Responsibilities include developing time series models (ARIMA, ML-based), optimization approaches (MIP, solvers), and production-ready pipelines using Python and Spark.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience building and deploying predictive models in production.
• Proficiency in Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn, NumPy) and SQL; experience with Spark or similar.
• Deep expertise in time series forecasting with ARIMA, exponential smoothing, and ML methods.
• Experience applying discrete optimization (MIP, solvers, genetic algorithms) to business problems.

Responsibilities

• Develop ML-driven models for demand forecasting, pricing optimization, and inventory planning.
• Build scalable pipelines and reporting tools to translate models into actionable insights for teams.
• Communicate tradeoffs and results clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
