Job summary

ICA.ai is seeking a Data Scientist to design and deliver data science and AI solutions for healthcare, federal health, and regulated-data environments. This remote role requires strong technical depth, practical judgment, and ownership from problem definition through evaluation and production.

A Public Trust Clearance is required and we will assist with obtaining it. Candidates should have 3–5 years of experience, strong Python and SQL skills, and background in unstructured data, NLP, document

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Data Science or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in data science or AI.
• Hands-on experience building data science, ML, or applied-AI solutions.
• Strong Python and SQL with foundations in statistics and ML.

Responsibilities

• Build ML, analytics, NLP, and generative-AI solutions from data.
• Transform documents and free text into structured outputs.
• Create downstream data-science solutions like classification and prediction.
• Perform data prep, feature development, experiments, model evaluation.
• Investigate data-quality issues and iterate on approaches.
• Contribute to production workflows, monitoring, and reproducible practices.
• Collaborate with senior staff, domain experts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions.
