Tempus AI is seeking a Sr. Data Scientist on the Outcomes Research team to lead HEOR and real-world evidence studies for pharma, biotech, and academic partners. You will design analyses, interpret findings, and publish results that inform clinical decisions and patient care.

The role emphasizes advanced epidemiologic methods, time-to-event analyses, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to translate research into actionable insights for clients.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in data science, bioinformatics, biostatistics, epidemiology, public health, or related quantitative field.
• Demonstrated computational skills using R and SQL on large-scale healthcare datasets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute HEOR and real-world evidence (RWE) projects with external Pharma, academic, and other partners.
• Represent the Outcomes Research function and collaborate with stakeholders in design, analysis, and publication of real-world studies.
• Work on complex problems, applying epidemiologic and health economic methods.
• Partner with scientists, engineers, and product developers to translate research into actionable insights for clients.
• Stay current with RWE methodologies, including causal inference and pharmacoepidemiologic methods.
• Build analytical infrastructure with reusable code, templates, and workflows to improve speed and quality.
• Comply with regulations, data governance, and company procedures for real-world data use.
