• Advanced programming, scripting, and statistical languages; strong data modeling and analysis skills.
• Experience mapping legal/regulatory concepts to data structures and processes.

Responsibilities

• Identify data needed to evaluate compliance with NYC worker and consumer protection laws.
• Coordinate with investigators and attorneys to deliver responsive data and interpretations.
• Develop data analysis tools to describe business practices, identify witnesses, and calculate damages.
• Assess data usage in investigations and litigation and suggest improvements.
• Propose changes to laws, rules, and guidance relevant to data work.
• Assist with economic data analysis and process design/automation.
