Job summary

Bully Pulpit International is seeking a seasoned Analytics lead to drive data-driven campaigns for public affairs clients. You’ll manage analytics projects, define audiences, and measure impact across diverse client accounts.

Using R or Python, you’ll build visualizations and client-ready narratives, collaborating with teams and leveraging new AI methods to extract deeper insights. This role emphasizes a product mindset and scalable workflows across offices.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of analytics and data science experience.
• Expertise in R or Python for analyzing datasets, writing clean analysis scripts, and building visualizations and analyses.
• Experience using SQL to filter, process, and prepare data.
• Experience working with outputs from statistical models, predictive analytics, or causal inference to solve client problems and articulate results in plain language.
• Strong visual polish and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into client-ready narratives.
• Collaborative mindset with a track record of supporting teammates.
• Product-focused mindset with interest in scaling tasks into standardized workflows with engineering teams.
• Strong data intuition, critical thinking, and first-principles problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytics projects across complex client accounts, defining target audiences and measuring campaign impact.
• Drive integrated analytics projects and track market dynamics for clients.
• Develop and deliver client-ready decks and memos with clear narratives and visuals.
• Improve data science offerings using AI tools and new methodologies.
• Own execution of workstreams and coordinate between clients and internal teams.
• Design and run experiments to measure campaign impact using surveys and causal inference.
