The role focuses on building and evaluating ML models, owning data definitions, and guiding analytics across Coinbase’s digital products. A remote-first environment with quarterly in-person surges is offered.

Qualifikationen

• BA/BS in a quantitative field with ≥5+ years of experience or a PhD with ≥3+ years of experience.
• Proven experience driving impactful data science projects tackling ambiguous problems.
• Ability to translate data learnings into compelling stakeholder stories.
• Practical expertise applying complex modeling frameworks to business problems.
• Professional experience using SQL and Python.
• Experience with digital products in iterative development cycles.

Aufgaben

• Conduct analysis and deep dives on ambiguous problems to produce insights and recommendations.
• Build, tune, or measure the performance of online and offline ML models and AI systems.
• Own broad scope of data and metrics from definitions to visualizations.
• Guide code reviews, provide SQL and Python expertise, and create well-maintained ETL jobs.
• Maintain rigorous statistical standards and design experiments to build stakeholder confidence.
