Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC’s Prime Video Personalization and Discovery team is seeking a data scientist to help build data-driven frameworks enabling better content discovery across devices.

You will design end-to-end data science workflows, query large datasets with SQL and Python, and apply models including multinomial logistic regression to improve user experience and business outcomes. You will collaborate with product stakeholders and mentor peers.

Qualifications

• You have 5+ years of experience with data querying languages (SQL) or scripting (Python) or statistics software (R/SAS/Matlab).
• You have 4+ years of data scientist experience.
• You hold a Bachelor's degree.
• You have experience with statistical models such as multinomial logistic regression.

Responsibilities

• Use advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to extract insights from large-scale data.
• Design end-to-end data science workflows from data acquisition to deployment.
• Build datasets to support analytics, reporting and ML use cases.
• Collaborate with product stakeholders and senior science peers on data-driven opportunities.
• Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stay up-to-date on data science tools and best practices and evangelize them across the org.
