Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Senior Data Scientist for its People Analytics team in California. The role focuses on building models forecasting attrition, hiring needs, and workforce trends, and delivering AI-enabled decision support to HR leaders.

You will deploy predictive models, manage performance, and work closely with HR COEs and Workday, shaping data pipelines and governance. This is a hands-on, influential role at a Fortune 500 homebuilder.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Economics, Math, Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience as a data scientist producing models and engineering solutions in production.
• Depth in predictive modeling, including regression, time series forecasting, and classification.
• Strong statistical foundation with experimentation and causal inference capabilities.
• Experience with building and evaluating models and presenting results to stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience building with LLMs and tool use for agent/workflow development.
• Experience with large HR datasets, including cleaning and structuring messy data via SQL or APIs.
• Fluency in SQL and strong proficiency in Python.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR leaders to forecast needs and build trusted models and agents.
• Build and deploy predictive models in Python and SQL.
• Monitor model performance and retrain as new data arrives.
