Qualifications

• BA/BS in a quantitative field (e.g. Math, Stats, Physics, CS) with 5+ years experience or a PhD with 3+ years experience.
• Impactful data science projects tackling ambiguous problems.
• Ability to translate data learnings into compelling stakeholder stories.
• Applying complex modeling frameworks to business problems.
• Professional experience with SQL and Python.
• Experience with digital products in iterative development cycles.
• Demonstrates core values: clear communication, positive energy, continuous learning, efficient execution.
• Uses generative AI responsibly with human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis and deep dives on ambiguous problems to guide business decisions.
• Build, tune, or measure performance of online and offline ML models and AI systems.
• Own a broad scope of data and metrics from logging to data visualizations.
• Guide code reviews, provide SQL and Python expertise, and create ETL jobs.
• Maintain statistical rigor; design and execute experimentation and causal analyses.
