Job summary

Zebra Technologies is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to design and deploy machine learning models (clustering, classification, regression) across large, diverse datasets from internal and external sources in the United States.

You will mentor peers, translate findings into actionable insights for product teams, and collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and business leaders to drive profits and reduce losses through advanced analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in CS, ML or related discipline.
• 5+ years in statistics, ML, deep learning and time series forecasting.
• Hands-on with Azure cloud, particularly Azure Databricks; proficient in PySpark and Databricks SQL.
• Experience building and deploying end-to-end ML solutions; familiarity with CI/CD and GitHub Actions.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements regression-based predictive models using diverse data.
• Integrates state-of-the-art ML algorithms and develops new methods.
• Translates models into testable hypotheses with product teams.
• Develops tools to support analysis and visualization of large datasets.
• Mentors and guides junior data scientists; communicates findings to stakeholders.
