Job summary

Arrivia, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to bring rigorous experimentation, predictive modeling, and decision science to high-value business problems.

You will own a prioritized backlog from framing to deployment, choosing methods, and articulating data limitations to executives. You will lead marketing effectiveness efforts, design randomized tests, build propensity and optimization models, and drive attribution while ensuring privacy and governance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years applying data science, experimentation, statistics, or ML to complex business problems.
• Experience in experimental design and causal inference with predictive modeling, segmentation, forecasting, or optimization.
• Advanced SQL and Python or R with reproducible, production-quality workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead marketing effectiveness analyses across acquisition, lifecycle, audience strategy, channel performance, conversion, retention, and revenue.
• Design and evaluate randomized tests, holdouts, quasi-experimental studies, and incrementality analyses with clear hypotheses and decision criteria.
• Build models for propensity, segmentation, next best action, churn, LTV, and campaign optimization that deliver measurable value.
• Connect channel, session, customer, and booking identifiers; separate reporting from attributed models and feed offline conversions to ad platforms with privacy baked in.
• Establish consistent funnel metrics from reach to revenue across brands and channels.
• Assess data quality and instrumentation across sources and document limitations before presenting results.
