You will build models that optimize carrier selection for insurance shoppers and own the bidding models behind media spend, with data challenges like sparsity and drift shaping your work.

As an individual contributor, you frame problems with business context and deploy end-to-end models in production, collaborating with an ML engineer.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on applied data science with measurable business impact.
• Models driven decisions: spend, bidding or ad serving and attribution.
• Explain loss function and architecture of models; neural network fundamentals included.

Responsibilities

• Build models to decide which carrier each auto insurance shopper sees on the click wall.
• Own the buying models behind media spend with ROAS in mind.
• Handle data challenges: sparse sessions, late labels, and drift.
• Collaborate with an ML engineer on production deployment and monitoring.
• Start with auto insurance; expand to other verticals over time.
