GDIT is hiring a Senior Data Scientist to lead complex analytics and act as a technical lead for enterprise projects supporting Government initiatives. You will mentor teams, review methodologies, and ensure reproducible results across programs.

The role emphasizes advanced Python/R, SQL proficiency, model development, and the ability to communicate findings to Government leadership. Expect dashboard and KPI development, with collaboration across multiple CONUS sites.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline with statistics, programming, and quantitative analysis.
• Five years of professional experience applying data science methods; or a Master’s with three+ years of such experience.
• Proficiency in Python or R with modular code, testing, version control, and SQL.
• Experience delivering statistical or predictive models that informed decisions.
• Leadership in analytical projects and mentoring teammates.
• Knowledge of experimental/quasi-experimental design and causal inference.

• Perform responsibilities of the Data Scientist labor category with enterprise-scale impact.
• Lead analytical projects across the organization, defining methods and validation approaches.
• Review designs, code, and results for technical soundness before delivery to Government.
• Instruct and mentor Data Scientists and contract personnel in data science practices.
• Develop and maintain standards, rules, and reproducible methodologies for analytics.
• Design, develop, and automate dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, and MOEs as requested.
