Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline with coursework in statistics, programming, and quantitative analysis.
• Minimum of five years of professional experience applying data science or statistical methods; or a Master’s with three years of experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Python or R with modular code, testing, version control, and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytical projects of enterprise scope, including ROI and risk factor analyses; define validation approaches and ensure reproducibility.
• Review analytical design, code, and results for methodological soundness before delivery.
• Instruct and mentor Data Scientists and contract personnel in data science practices and tools.
• Develop and maintain analytical standards, model assumptions, validation procedures, and reproducible methodologies.
• Design, develop, and automate enterprise dashboards, executive scorecards, KPIs, MOPs, and MOEs per Government needs.
• Advise Government personnel on appropriate use and interpretation of analytical products.
