Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Statistician/Data Analyst to support data collection and analysis for a government program. You will enhance reporting, support forecast modeling, develop automated reporting and dashboards, and deliver analytical results to leadership.

The role requires experience with data visualization, SQL, and scripting in R/Python/SAS, plus collaboration with contractors and federal staff to improve data collection and analysis efforts.

Qualifications

• Requires BS/BA degree in Statistics or related field with 8+ years of related experience, or MS/MA with 6 years.
• Proficient in data visualization (Tableau) and scripting (R/Python/SAS).
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop reporting products with domain experts and data analysts.
• Perform high-level data interpretation and statistical analysis.
• Prepare summaries and presentations for agency leadership.
• Prototype data products and support data collection efforts.
• Publish data to development and production environments and create documentation.
