Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead enterprise analytics initiatives, review colleagues’ work, and mentor analysts. You will design dashboards, validate models, and advise Government stakeholders on analytical products.

The role requires a strong quantitative background, 5+ years of experience (or a Master’s with 3+ years), and advanced Python or R and SQL proficiency. On-site at multiple CONUS sites with Top Secret clearance considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field with statistics, programming, and quantitative analysis coursework.
• 5+ years applying data science methods to real-world problems; advanced Python or R and SQL.
• Master’s degree preferred; capable of leading analytics projects and reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise analytics projects, define validation, and ensure reproducible results.
• Review methods and results of teammates; mentor analysts in data science practices.
• Design, develop, and automate dashboards and KPIs for leadership.
• Advise Government personnel on model use and interpretation.
