Job summary

The Hertz Corporation is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join the Data Science & Insights team. You will lead end-to-end model lifecycle work, building scalable models and data stories to guide executive decisions.

You will mentor analysts, work with cross-functional teams, and stay current on data science trends to unlock business value across Hertz’s fleet, operations, and customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred; Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of data science experience delivering impactful projects, preferably in rental car/automotive/transportation/hospitality industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end model lifecycle from problem framing to deployment and monitoring.
• Build scalable models and analytical solutions for repeatable decision making across products and processes.
• Improve demand forecasting, fleet planning, vehicle turnaround, maintenance planning, and customer satisfaction.
