Intuit Inc. is seeking a Senior Staff Data Scientist to lead analytics and measurement vision for its Insurance business.

You will partner with senior leaders across Product, Marketing, Engineering, and AI Science to identify opportunities across the end-to-end member journey, from awareness to conversion and value realization. The role demands deep scientific depth, business judgment, and the ability to operate in ambiguity, translating complex dynamics into strategy and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of data science and analytics experience with a track record of driving strategy and measurable business impact across multiple initiatives.
• Strong ability to apply first-principles thinking to translate ambiguous problems into analytical strategies.
• Deep expertise in experimentation, causal inference, customer segmentation, funnel optimization, and measurement.
• Experience applying machine learning techniques (classification, regression, ranking, targeting, propensity modeling) to business problems.
• Proven ability to connect insights across analyses to influence product or business strategy.
• Experience creating reusable analytical frameworks and scalable capabilities.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder influence skills reaching senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Set the analytics strategy for Insurance across the end-to-end journey and translate business strategy into a high-impact data science portfolio.
• Influence senior Product, Marketing, and business leaders using data, insights, and external trends to shape priorities and investments.
• Build durable customer and marketplace understanding by connecting signals from experiments, models, and external indicators.
• Lead experimentation and causal measurement, establishing rigorous approaches for incrementality beyond traditional A/B testing.
• Advance personalization and matching by partnering with Product and AI Science to improve targeting and ranking.
• Shape the AI-native Insurance roadmap and establish measurement frameworks linking model quality to outcomes.
• Define the measurement architecture with metrics and leading indicators for acquisition, engagement, conversion, retention, and value.
• Identify and size new growth opportunities using first-principles analysis to guide leadership decisions.
• Build scalable scientific capabilities and reusable methodologies across Insurance and Finance teams.
• Raise the scientific bar and develop talent by mentoring data scientists and scaling impact.
