Qualifications

• 7+ years in analytics, trading, or counterparty analysis at a finance or market-making firm.
• Expert SQL — work directly against order book and transaction-level data.
• Deep understanding of how professional participants make money — spread capture and liquidity economics.
• Credibility in technical conversations with sophisticated counterparties.
• Commercial instinct to value relationships and identify leverage.
• Strong communication and discretion with sensitive counterparty information.
• Experience in fintech, crypto, or data-heavy financial products is a plus.
• Familiarity with on-chain data or blockchain analytics is a plus.
• Python or R for deeper statistical work is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own analytics on our largest makers, takers, and brokerages and be the internal source of truth on relationship performance.
• Build account-level views of major counterparties—volume, flow, spreads, fee economics, and trends.
• Monitor counterparty health and surface churn or engagement signals early.
• Analyze trading behavior to understand how partners monetize on the platform and if terms hold.
• Support institutional reviews and negotiations with data-backed insights on counterparty value.
• Quantify how institutional flow affects market liquidity and retail trader experience.
• Collaborate with analytics engineers to automate recurring reports.
• Own documentation end-to-end so teammates can pick up analyses easily.
