Job summary

Phaidra is hiring a data-science oriented specialist to own a portfolio of customer deployments in the industrial cooling domain. You will analyze mechanical/electrical telemetry, CMMS, and alarms to identify root causes and surface actionable insights.

You will collaborate with Solutions Engineering and TPMs, mentoring peers and expanding AI tooling across projects. We operate a 100% remote team with US/Canada focus and a strong culture of ownership and impact.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years in facilities or industrial ops with data-driven improvements.
• Deep cooling systems: chillers, hydronics, refrigeration cycles.
• Analytical horsepower: Python with Pandas/NumPy; time-series analysis.
• Portfolio-scale ownership across multiple sites or projects.
• Curiosity to diagnose and solve live problems.
• Strong cross-function communication (operators, engineers, software).
• Education aligned with ME/EE/Controls; depth via experience.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of customer deployments and proactively hunt for problems.
• Troubleshoot the platform on real systems and drive fixes into the product.
• Analyze telemetry, CMMS, and alarms to find root causes and pathologies.
• Encode SME-level logic for real-time operator guidance.
• Run pilots to stress-test AI-driven tools under real conditions.
• Partner with Solutions Engineering and TPMs; guide customers with data-backed directions.
• Mentor peers and share learnings across teams.
• Tackle challenges and scopes not written here.
