Job summary

Trane Technologies Connected Solutions is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join a small, entrepreneurial analytics team focused on IIoT problems. You will build predictive maintenance and anomaly detection models and collaborate with Data Ops to deploy and monitor them.

This high-visibility role involves cross-functional collaboration, modeling across compressors and subsystems, and guiding junior teammates while advancing the company’s digital strategy.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience developing inferential and predictive models.
• Proficient in Python with experience with data science libraries.
• Experience working with machine data / time series data.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of state of the art machine learning models to enable predictive and prescriptive maintenance.
• Take ownership of the full data science workflow from scoping to monitoring.
• Interface with engineers and modelers to improve predictive models.
• Mentor and guide other team members in the domain area.
