Trane Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team and drive innovative AI-enabled solutions for building climate systems. You will identify opportunities within processes, leverage cutting-edge AI and data technologies, and deliver solutions with limited data availability.

You will work independently yet be part of a larger team, presenting work for review and mentoring others.

Qualificações

• PhD or Master’s degree in Data Science, CS, Statistics, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in the mechanical industry preferred.
• Expertise in statistics and ML techniques for high-volume time series data.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and deploy autonomous LLM-powered agents and connectors for energy modeling and HVAC tools.
• Translate complex simulation tasks into executable agent workflows and tool-calling routines.
• Prepare detailed project workflows and execute them efficiently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide constructive feedback.
• Generate ETL pipelines, preprocess datasets, and develop verification tools.
• Work with multi-source datasets and formats.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and visualizations to communicate scope and progress.
• Prepare detailed documentation for applications.
• Utilize generative AI models and API calls in code.
• Travel 10–20%.
