Job summary

Checkout.com is seeking a data-driven professional to join the Payment Success Management team in the US. You will diagnose payment performance issues, run analyses, and present actionable insights to merchants and internal teams.

In this hybrid role, you’ll work with account managers and engineers, owning engagements end-to-end. A strong foundation in SQL and Python, plus curiosity and clear communication, are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience using data to drive measurable results, such as revenue uplift or efficiency gains.
• Strong SQL and Python skills for analysis and validation of results.
• Natural curiosity and enjoyment in solving non-trivial problems.
• Ability to explain complex analysis clearly to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own merchant performance engagements from start to finish, typically about three months each.
• Dig deep into large datasets to identify root causes of performance gaps.
• Form hypotheses, run experiments, and measure uplift.
• Understand ML optimization decisions and collaborate with ML engineers to fix issues.
• Present findings to merchants and non-technical stakeholders as clear stories.
• Use automation and AI to improve team efficiency.
