Job summary

Snap Finance is seeking a Data Scientist III to apply statistics, machine learning, and robust data analysis to support Sales and B2B Marketing. The role focuses on experimental design, modeling, and delivering actionable insights from large transaction-level data.

The position is hybrid, based out of Salt Lake City with relocation within 90 days, and requires 3–5 years in data science with strong SQL and Python/R skills.

Qualifications

• MS in statistics, econometrics, mathematics, CS or related field; or strong equivalent.
• 3–5 years in data science with SQL and ML experience.
• Proven ability to take data science projects from development to production.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement experiments to evaluate business performance, new products and features.
• Build, validate and deploy predictive models for Sales and B2B Marketing.
• Interact with stakeholders to translate questions into analyses and recommendations.
• Work with large transaction-level datasets to derive actionable insights.
