Job summary

V4C.ai seeks a Data Scientist to design and deploy data-driven solutions for healthcare and member engagement. You'll work with Databricks, PySpark, Python, and SQL to build scalable ML workflows and ensure data quality across large healthcare datasets.

The role emphasizes mastering Master Data Management concepts, data governance, and producing analytics-ready data while adhering to HIPAA standards. Cloud experience with Azure/AWS is a plus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Data Science, ML, or related field.
• Hands-on Databricks and PySpark experience required.
• Advanced Python and SQL skills.
• Experience developing and deploying ML or predictive models.
• Strong knowledge of Master Data Management concepts: matching, deduplication, entity resolution, golden records, standardization, data quality, reference data.
• Experience with large-scale structured and semi-structured data.
• Familiarity with Delta Lake/Lakehouse and data governance.
• Healthcare data experience and HIPAA exposure desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and productionize ML models and analyses using Python and Databricks.
• Build scalable data science workflows with Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and Delta Lake.
• Work with MDM processes to ensure trusted master data across sources.
• Analyze data quality, duplication, and entity-resolution issues across healthcare datasets.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Product, Analytics, and stakeholders to translate problems into data science solutions.
• Develop data validation and quality-monitoring to improve dataset reliability.
• Perform exploratory analyses to identify trends for member engagement and health outcomes.
• Contribute to feature engineering, model evaluation, experimentation, and deployment to production.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and data privacy requirements.
• Document models, datasets, assumptions, methodologies, and data lineage.
