Job summary

System is seeking a Data & AI/ML Engineer to design and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows for healthcare data products.

You will build and operate infrastructure for training, deploying, and serving ML models in production, and develop AI data infrastructure like feature stores and vector databases.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in data engineering or ML engineering, strong Python/SQL, and hands-on cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years in data or ML engineering.
• Strong Python and SQL; Spark/dbt/Airflow a plus.
• Experience with cloud data infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure).

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Build and operate infrastructure for training, deploying, and serving ML models in production.
• Develop feature stores, vector databases, and other AI data infrastructure.
• Ensure reliability, low latency, and high availability of data systems.
• Partner with Research and Data Science to move findings into production.
• Implement monitoring and observability for data and model health.
• Contribute to infrastructure as code practices and documentation on cloud platforms.
