Job summary

Reddit is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to partner with product, engineering, design, marketing, and business development to drive user and revenue growth. You will define product strategy through measurement, experimentation, and causal analyses, supporting decisions with deep data insights.

You will lead cross-functional stakeholders, mentor junior data scientists, and contribute to KPI design and quarterly goal setting in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D.) in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, or Operations Research.
• 5+ years of industry experience for MS holders; 4+ years for PhD holders in applied science or data science roles.
• Expertise in SQL and programming in R/Python.

Responsibilities

• Develop action-oriented insights to drive product strategy through observational causal analysis and experiment meta-analysis.
• Lead experimentation practices and guide design, execution, and deep dive analyses of A/B tests.
• Create ETLs, tables, dashboards, and self-serve tools for cross-functional partners to access data.
