Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine seeks a Senior Scientist - Data Science to apply GenAI, ML, and NLP to automate and optimize clinical operations. The role focuses on enrollment forecasting, cost optimization, and country/site selection, leveraging state-of-the-art ML techniques.

Primary location is Hyderabad, India, with Bangalore, India considered; Spain and the US East Coast may be options. The team works across oncology, cardiovascular, immunology, and more to accelerate breakthroughs.

Qualifications

• PhD in a quantitative discipline (e.g., computer science, statistics, biostatistics, health economics, biomedical informatics, epidemiology, applied mathematics).
• 2+ years of industry experience delivering Data Science projects using predictive technologies, forecasting, optimization, NLP, AI, or ML.
• Hands-on experience with LLM application framework and tools (e.g., DSPy, LangChain) and clinical/medical LLMs and finetuning techniques.
• Proficiency with Python and SQL.
• Passionate about leveraging data to drive scientific innovation.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Conceive, develop, and implement GenAI and ML solutions for clinical trial operations.
• Fine tune and adapt large language models (LLMs) for analytics on protocols, similarity, harmonization, and eligibility criteria.
• Create tools for cost and enrollment optimization using operational data and optimization techniques.
• Contribute to patient modeling and enrollment simulations for accurate projections.
• Clearly articulate technical methods and results to diverse audiences to drive decisions.
