Job summary

SentiLink is hiring a Senior Data Scientist to build fraud detection models and expand our risk products. You will own end-to-end DS work, from data exploration to production deployment, partnering with teams across the company to identify new fraud patterns and data sources.

You will contribute to research, feature engineering, and production code, shaping data-driven decisions for product and sales initiatives. AUS/US-based remote options are supported.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant work experience and a PhD or 6+ years with a Masters
• Proven track record solving complex business problems with DS/ML solutions
• Experience communicating outcomes to senior management/stakeholders
• Strong end-to-end DS development from planning to production delivery
• Strong ML/Stats knowledge; familiarity with SOTA ML is a plus
• Legally authorized to work in the United States and reside in the United States

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain fraud detection models through the full model development lifespan
• Build modeling to drive Fraud and Financial Risk products
• Research new types of fraud and develop identity verification products
• Iterate with new data sources and inventive feature engineering
• Write production-ready code for real-time decision making
• Design and present analyses informing data acquisition and product strategy
• Collaborate with engineering, risk operations, and data teams to access data and ensure quality
