Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or closely related field
• Ten years of IT experience is required or demonstrated equivalent
• Strong background in data science and ML with practical Databricks proficiency
• Experience with Databricks Genie configuration and administration
• Experience building semantic data models and metadata governance
• Ability to communicate complex analytics to non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced analytics and ML solutions using Databricks
• Configure and optimize Databricks Genie spaces for natural language access to enterprise data
• Develop semantic models, business metadata, and governance processes for Genie-generated outputs
• Maintain notebooks, workflows, dashboards, and data pipelines within Databricks
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure high-quality, governed datasets for AI applications
• Support retrieval-augmented generation, LLM, and AI-agent use cases leveraging Databricks capabilities
