Job summary

OP Labs is seeking a senior Data Scientist to analyze large blockchain datasets and deliver data-driven insights. You will design pipelines, build models, and communicate results to cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment with NYC as the center of gravity.

The role requires 7+ years of data science experience, a quantitative degree, and strong Python/SQL skills. Experience with web3 is a plus, and you will own end-to-end data products from conception to deployment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional data science experience.
• Degree in a quantitative field (CS/Stats/Economics/Engineering).
• Experience designing, prototyping, scaling, and launching data science products.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and identify trends across blockspace.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.
• Design and build data pipelines to collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources.
• Perform statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to validate model performance and accuracy.
• Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with blockchain, AI, and data science methodologies.
• Conduct research to explore new opportunities and improve models.
• Develop and maintain key metrics and reports, improving data infrastructure.
