DELFI Diagnostics, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop statistical methods for early cancer detection assays. The role spans assay development, analytical validation, QC strategy, and regulatory submissions.

Qualifications

• Master's or higher in a quantitative field; PhD preferred.
• 5+ years of scientific data analysis experience; 3+ years in Python.
• Strong foundations in probability theory and statistics.
• Experience in regulated diagnostics (IVD/LDT) including documentation.
• Ability to translate complex analyses for cross-functional/regulatory audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design analyses for assay development, analytical validation, and QC strategies in regulated diagnostics.
• Collaborate with assay development, lab ops, and software teams to design experiments and document results.
• Contribute to control strategy development with qualification and monitoring frameworks for reagents, instruments, and QC.
• Provide operational data science support for production and run monitoring, troubleshoot performance issues and trending QC metrics.
• Produce high-quality Python code following team standards.
• Support regulatory submissions with rigorous, well-documented analyses.
